unpublished PhD available via EThOS. Concentrates on the rebellions away from Kett and the Western Rebellion that year, argues that unrest was almost national in scope. Has a very good introduction looking at general issues of rebellion and the situation in 1549. She is writing a book but it’s not out yet.
